Kijiji wanted to drive more consumers to its luxury automotive resales, as well as increase brand awareness with a younger demographic. We delivered a video strategy that blew through every target.

The Ask

Kijiji wanted to raise its profile in the luxury automotive resale vertical and increase brand awareness with a younger demographic.

Solution

SCL produced a series of videos for Kijiji in partnership with Toronto Life, starring the vastly popular Youtube personality Jus Reign. In each video, Jus Reign interviews prominent Torontonians while driving a car for sale on Kijiji.

Result

The campaign blew through every metric of success, exceeding the client’s goals and generating 9.5 million impressions and more than 114,000 completed video views.

Kardinal Offishall gets a ride from Jus Reign

No one looks more at home driving around Toronto in a Hummer than Kardinal Offishall. That was true a decade and a half ago, when “BaKardi Slang” introduced the world to the T-Dot and the rapper made a bright yellow one the star of his music video, and it’s true today.

Norm Kelly gets a ride from Jus Reign

What car becomes a 6ix Dad most? When we asked everyone’s internet best friend Jus Reign to pick Norm Kelly up and take him to work at City Hall, the answer was obvious: a 2013 Mercedes S550, the right kind of car, as Jus notes, for “big, important people.”

Amanda Brugel gets a ride from Jus Reign
