Observer Publications, the publisher of United Church Observer, hired Strategic Content Labs to assist with the website component of a massive undertaking: Rename—and rebrand—one of the country’s oldest magazines.
SCL designed and developed a custom WordPress site to serve as a bridge between the past (with some templates optimized to present legacy content from UC Observer) and the future (with other templates optimized to present new content from Broadview).
The site launched in early April 2019, timed with the release of Broadview‘s debut issue and social media rebranding. It is fully responsive, and began earning praise from Observer‘s legacy audience within moments of going live.
